Hard Drawn Wire
Hard-drawn wire is the most basic and affordable steel wire available. The term “hard-drawn” simple means the steel has been drawn though the die to the desired diameter with no additional processing or tempering.
Hard drawn wire is not suitable for applications under extreme temperature whether too hot or too cold (maximum recommended operating temperature is 250F), high-stress applications, applications with highimpact or shock loads, and applications in which life dependency and / or accuracy are critical.
